Suspended senator of the 10th National Assembly, lawyer, and political figure, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has raised alarm over what she describes as a direct threat to her life. This comes in the wake of a violent attack by armed men on her family residence in Obeiba-Ihima, Kogi State, on Friday, April 18, 2025.
In a strongly worded statement released through her media team, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan accused several high-ranking politicians of being responsible for the escalating threats against her. Those named include Senate President Godswill Akpabio, former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, and the current governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo.
According to her statement, the attackers vandalised the ancestral home, which she described as a significant family heritage. Security personnel reportedly repelled the assault before further damage or casualties occurred.
