Arewa Youth President Rejects New Law on Blasphemy

The Arewa Youth President has issued a strong statement warning President Bola Ahmed Tinubu against involving himself in religious matters that could incite conflict. This warning follows a newly signed law by Tinubu, who also serves as ECOWAS Chairman, which prohibits the killing of individuals accused of insulting Prophet Muhammad.

In a firm rebuttal, the Arewa Youth President vehemently opposed the law, insisting that anyone who insults the Prophet should face elimination. He further demanded that the president retract the law, emphasizing that the Arewa youth would not be intimidated or silenced on the issue.
