Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has denied allegations made by National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) President, Comrade Atiku Abubakar Isah, linking him to an alleged abduction.
In a statement shared via Instagram, Seyi dismissed the claims as “entirely fictional,” stating he has never met or interacted with Isah and was never in the company of thugs, as alleged.
Isah had claimed he was abducted in Abuja by armed men allegedly acting on the orders of Seyi Tinubu and rival NANS faction leader Ladoja Olusola. He alleged he was assaulted and forced to make a false statement at the NTA premises, following tensions surrounding his recent election as NANS president.
Despite submitting petitions to the police over threats to his life, Isah said no action has been taken. He thanked students and the media for their support and vowed not to be intimidated in his role.
