Former presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Adewole Adebayo, has taken a swipe at President Bola Tinubu’s government, claiming it doesn’t meet the standard of a functional administration.
In an interview with AIT on Tuesday, Adebayo expressed deep concern over the President’s management of critical economic sectors, citing a consistent pattern of failure. He noted that apart from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and a handful of ministries, the government has struggled to deliver meaningful economic progress.
Adebayo also criticized the recently launched student loan initiative, arguing that instead of offering loans, the administration should focus on making education more affordable for all Nigerians.
