Veteran Nollywood actress Jumoke George has made a heartbreaking appeal for help, revealing that she is battling homelessness, serious health issues, and the pain of a missing child.
In an emotional video shared on Instagram on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, by fellow actress Abiola Adebayo, Jumoke tearfully opened up about the hardships she has endured. She disclosed that she has been without a home for over five years and has been struggling with deteriorating health since January.
The actress revealed that her first son, Adeola, who turned 41 this month, has been missing for more than four years. She added that she urgently needs ₦400,000 to undergo critical brain and heart tests.
“Dear Nigerians, please pray for me,” she pleaded in the video. “I have never ruined anyone’s life. I am tired; I can’t bear it anymore. I don’t have a home. I don’t have anything. And my child is missing.”
“I’ve been sick since January 2nd. I’ve done several tests, and now I need tests on my brain and heart. It costs ₦400,000, and I don’t know where to get the money.”
Her emotional outcry has triggered an outpouring of support and concern across social media, with fans, colleagues, and well-wishers expressing solidarity and calling for assistance for the embattled actress.
