Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has voiced her disapproval over a troubling post made by a social media influencer who used their platform to wish death upon an unnamed politician.
Taking to her Instagram page, Badmus expressed her deep disappointment over the post, stressing that political differences should never lead to such hateful actions.
According to a report by Naija News, the actress reminded Nigerians that, regardless of the political divide, humanity should take precedence.
“It’s truly disheartening to see a social media influencer use their platform to wish death on anyone at all,” she wrote. “No matter your political views, we must never let hate override our humanity. As Nigerians, we are better than this. If we want change, let it be through dialogue, truth, and unity, not violence or death wishes. Let’s choose decency over division.”
Badmus urged citizens to embrace respectful conversations and peaceful advocacy as tools for national progress.
