Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala Breaks Silence on Pregnancy Timing, Confirms She Married Before Public Wedding

Social media influencer and entrepreneur, Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala, has addressed growing speculation about the timeline of her pregnancy, firmly stating that she was not pregnant before marriage.

The 24-year-old daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, who is currently expecting her first child with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, took to social media to set the record straight following a wave of online criticism. After announcing her pregnancy on Thursday, some users questioned how her baby bump could be so visible just three months after their lavish public wedding in April 2025.

Accusations quickly spread online, with critics alleging she became pregnant before tying the knot. In response, Priscilla shared a never-before-seen photo from their private Islamic wedding (nikkah), revealing that she and Juma Jux had been legally married long before the public ceremony.

“Womb watchers and calculators. Another confusion for you,” she wrote. “This was the first time we got married after our private introduction last year. We were already married before the nikah we posted — that was just to celebrate with friends and family.”

She clarified that the April celebration was a public gathering for loved ones, while their official marriage had been conducted privately and off-camera the year before.

In other news, popular TikTok creator Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, known widely as Peller, has stirred buzz online after publicly asking his girlfriend, Amaduo Elizabeth Aminata—better known as Jarvis—to get pregnant for him.

His surprising request came shortly after Priscilla Ojo revealed that she is expecting her first child with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.

Inspired by the post, Peller took to the comment section and appealed to Jarvis, writing:

“@realjadrolita do this for me I swear u no go regret.”

However, Jarvis was quick to respond, shutting down the idea of pregnancy outside of marriage. Referring to Priscilla’s situation as a standard, she replied:

“@peller089 then get married. Abi did you see her do it out of wedlock??”

The exchange has since gone viral, sparking debates about relationships, marriage, and traditional values. While some fans found Peller’s post humorous, others applauded Jarvis for standing her ground.
