Afrobeats sensation Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has dismissed claims that her new contract with Roc Nation prevents her from having a boyfriend or starting a family.
According to Naija News, the rising star recently signed a five-year management deal with Roc Nation, the entertainment powerhouse owned by American mogul Jay-Z.
Shortly after the announcement, speculation began circulating online, with a podcaster claiming in a viral video that the contract includes a clause barring Ayra Starr from entering a relationship or starting a family during the duration of the agreement.
“Ayra Starr isn’t allowed to have a boyfriend or start a family during her five-year contract with Roc Nation,” the podcaster alleged.
Reacting to the rumour, Ayra Starr playfully responded on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “Does Ayra Starr know about this?” She also reposted a tweet that read, “Them lie on top your head for broad daylight,” effectively confirming that the claim was false.
