Nigerian singer Adekunle Temitope, popularly known as Small Doctor, has expressed concerns about the safety of certain public transport vehicles, particularly minibuses commonly called “Korope.”
In a message shared on his Twitter page, the singer warned commuters against boarding any Korope that operates with a conductor, asserting that many of them could be involved in suspicious or potentially dangerous activities.
According to Small Doctor, as many as 90 per cent of such vehicles might have “another agenda,” and he urged the public to be cautious and avoid unnecessary risks when using public transport.
“If you come across a mini bus (Korope) with a conductor, please DO NOT board. DO NOT board. DO NOT board. 90% of them have another agenda. Be vigilant.”
His warning has elicited mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians echoing similar safety concerns regarding the use of public transit.
