Nigerian singer Praiz has shared his thoughts on dating dynamics, saying he has no problem with women initiating romantic interest.
Speaking during a recent episode of Hot Takes, the Rich and Famous crooner addressed the issue of rejection, noting that both men and women often struggle to handle it. He suggested that rejection can sometimes be a form of protection, preventing people from entering situations that aren’t right for them.
According to Praiz, women frequently express attraction in subtle ways, such as liking photos or engaging with social media posts, rather than directly approaching. Still, he believes there’s nothing wrong with women being more upfront.
“Not everybody can handle rejection. I’m not even talking about women; some men don’t know how to handle it. Maybe it was just God saying, ‘Let me save this guy,’” he said.
For Praiz, the key to healthy relationships is building emotional resilience and accepting that not every romantic attempt will succeed.
