Media personality and actress Toke Makinwa has opened up about a deeply personal milestone, revealing that she is expecting her first child — a development she describes as proof of God’s perfect timing.
In an emotional Instagram post, the 40-year-old star reflected on her spiritual journey, sharing how years of waiting, heartbreak, and hope had prepared her for what she calls “the biggest project” of her life.
Makinwa revealed that she entered 2025 declaring it would be a year of transformation. Now, she believes that prophetic statement has been fulfilled in the form of her long-awaited pregnancy.
“There were times I thought God had forgotten me,” she admitted, “but He was working on my heart, positioning me for the biggest blessing and highest calling.”
Known for her dynamic career in radio, television, and brand influencing, Makinwa said no role compares to the one she is stepping into now: motherhood. She expressed gratitude for what she sees as a divine appointment, emphasising that “God is never late” and that her story is a reminder of hope for others still waiting for their breakthrough.
Her announcement was filled with heartfelt words to her unborn child: “You’ve made me the happiest person on earth. Thank you for choosing me to be the greatest reflection of God’s grace.”
