Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Level Up’ winner, Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has publicly apologised for her past social media posts.
The reality TV star made the apology while reflecting on recent personal experiences, particularly following the tragic accident involving her sister, Ruth.
Ruth was hit by a Dangote truck on August 13, 2025, near Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State. The crash, allegedly caused by an underage and unlicensed driver, led to the amputation of her leg.
Phyna has since been calling for justice and accountability from the Dangote Group. Although the company initially promised full support, including plans to fly Ruth abroad for advanced treatment, Phyna claims they later failed to fulfil their commitment.
Taking to 𝕏 on Friday, the BBNaija star expressed gratitude for the lessons life has taught her, acknowledging that she now sees things differently. She also extended an olive branch to those offended by her past online remarks.
Her post read:
“Omo, my eyes don open. I have seen a lot this period, and all I can say is just hold God tight. To some tweets I made in the past when I thought I knew better, and to those people that got angry, omo I’m sorry oo. I’ve seen the light. Omo!!!!!!! If you know, you know!”
