TikTok sensation Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, also known as Peller, has apologised to his fans following backlash over some of his online behaviour.
The 20-year-old entertainer admitted that his social media activities are often misunderstood and do not always reflect his true personality.
In a statement shared on his Instagram stories on Monday, Peller appealed to those he may have offended to forgive him, promising to be on his best behaviour moving forward.
He wrote:
“If I have offended you before, please forgive me. I promise to be on my best behaviour this time. I don’t mean most of the things I do online. In reality, I’m more than a good boy, so please handle me with care.”
Peller added that outside social media, he considers himself well-behaved and urged his followers to show him empathy.
