Disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has confessed that she struggled to concentrate in church after being captivated by her sister Temi Otedola’s wedding photographs.
Cuppy revealed on social media that she spent her Sunday scrolling through the pictures of Temi’s glamorous wedding to singer Mr Eazi, published by Vogue, instead of paying attention to the pastor’s sermon.
“Making it big… but I’m in church right now STILL scrolling through my sister @TemiOtedola’s wedding pics on Vogue instead of listening to the pastor,” she tweeted.
The much-talked-about wedding unfolded across three countries. The couple tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Monaco on May 9, held a colourful Yoruba traditional wedding in Dubai, and capped it off with a fairytale white wedding at Hallgrímskirkja Church in Reykjavík, Iceland.
The Iceland celebration featured a live performance by American singer John Legend and a breathtaking display of the Northern Lights during the reception, leaving guests in awe.
Meanwhile, billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, father of the bride, used the occasion to advise Temi. During the reception, he urged her to embrace her new role as a wife by submitting to her husband, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi.
