Nigerian Fuji icon, Saheed Osupa, has expressed deep appreciation to Grammy award-winning singer, Burna Boy, after the latter named him his “greatest musician of all time” (GOAT).

Burna Boy, in a recent conversation with tennis legend Roger Federer, disclosed that his GOAT singers are predominantly Fuji artistes, with Osupa topping the list.

Reacting via his 𝕏 handle on Thursday, Osupa described the recognition as a monumental moment that not only uplifts his personal journey but also celebrates the timeless influence of Fuji music.

He noted that Burna Boy’s tribute shines a brilliant light on the cultural heritage of Fuji, bridging generations and genres on the global stage.

“This honour not only uplifts my journey but also shines a brilliant light on our rich cultural heritage, bridging generations and genres worldwide.

“I am profoundly grateful for this acknowledgment from the African Giant himself, of whom I am also a great fan. Together, we are redefining African music legacy and inspiring the world with authentic, vibrant sounds.”

Osupa concluded by thanking Burna Boy and all music lovers embracing Fuji, while wishing the superstar more success.
