9ice set to get tribal mark on 50th birthday

9ice, whose name is Abolore Adegbola Akande, has revealed he would be getting the same tribal mark as his father on his 50th birthday.

The 45-year-old singer, who is widely known for using the Yoruba language and proverb in his music, announced this in a recent video on his TikTok page.

According to him, a lot of his boys say he won’t do it, but he is getting the tribal mark to honour his dad, who also has it.

He said, “By the time I’m 50, I will get the same mark as my dad. That’s what I want to do for my birthday. A lot of my boys said I won’t do that, but you will see.”
