‘I would rather be a co-wife than a man’s side chick’ – Lolo 1

Nollywood actress Omotunde Adebowale-David popularly known as Lolo 1 has stated that she would rather be a co- wife in a polygamous marriage than being a man’s secret lover.

The media personality said this in a recent podcast with her colleague, Bimbo Akintola.

She argued that relationships should be guided by honesty and fairness, and it is better for a man to openly have multiple wives than to cheat behind a spouse’s back

She went further to say that in a polygamous marriage co-wives share equal treatment and turn, creating a transparent environment that avoids hidden betrayals.

According to her, “I would rather a man be polygamous than for him to be married and have a side-chick. That’s the one I would not contend with”.
