Nigeria Music producer and executive Don Jazzy, whose name is Collins Ajereh shares how the abrupt end of Mo’Hits, a record label founded with D’banj taught him a great lesson.
He opened up on this at a recent interview with Rolling Stones, stating how he almost quit music and moved out of the country due to the disagreement between him and the co-founder
He further went on to say the words of encouragement from his friends, who told him to stay and start over, and gave birth to Mavin Records
According to Don Jazzy, the experience taught him not to let anything break him.
“When Mo’Hits ended, I thought that was it. I almost packed up to move abroad. But friends encouraged me to stay and start again, and Mavin Records was born. Since then, I’ve learned not to let anything break me,” he said
His label Mavin Records is a home to prominent artists like Rema, Ayra Starr, Bayarni, Magixx and many more.
