Businesswoman Sophia Momodu comes out to debunk rumours surrounding the absence of her daughter, Imade at Davido’s birthday party.

According to the rumours making the rounds, Sophia stopped her daughter from attending her father’s Davido birthday party.

In response, the baby mama said she is a very protective mother and people need to stop dragging her daughter’s name to the online drama.

Sophia stressed that Imade’s privacy is her top priority and warned against spreading lies about her daughter’s well-being.

She wrote, “You people have been doing this false narrative thing for over 10 years now. And while I try to be as graceful as I can, I’m also a very protective mother. Say whatever you want about me, it’s ok. But leave my child alone. This is non-negotiable. Imade is not a bargaining chip for her mother to conform.”

Her outburst comes after a Snapchat user asked her why she kept her daughter from celebrating with her father.”Sophia, why don’t you allow your daughter to celebrate with his dad.” the users asked.

Davido celebrated his 33rd birthday during the weekend, and many friends and family members, including the singer’s other children, attended the party except Imade.
