Son of late Omije Ojunmi, Bobby Williams Adeoye says he was not shocked about the death of his mother as she always talked about death while she was alive.
He said this during the service of songs held in her honour, where he remembered her as a woman who gave her whole life to raising him and making sure he succeeded in everything he did.
He recalled her cheerful nature, saying their home was always full of laughter because she loved to joke and make people happy.
“My mother was a very loving, beautiful, and caring person to me, actually. So she was very, very strong. She will do anything to see me come first in anything, or even in class. Anytime I come back from school, she always wants to know what happened. So, that is the loving part about mommy. She’s the best mother in the world to me.” He said describing her as a caring, kind mother who was always interested in the life of her children.
According to him, when he heard about her passing, it did not come as a total shock to him because she had spoken about it many times in the past.
“When I heard she was dead, I was not that surprised because she had always been saying it. She has always been saying it. She cracked jokes to make everyone lively, and that’s the main reason why I also miss Mommy. I know you’re dead right now, but you will always be alive in my heart and in my dreams. I love you mommy. May your soul rest in peace.”he said
