Nollywood filmmaker, Stanley Ontop, claps back at his colleague, Frederick Leonard, over a defamation petition laid against him.
He made his response in a post via his Instagram page where he made it known that his waiting for the police invitation.
“See y’all in court. I’m waiting for the police invitation. Ontop no small.”he said
Toff Notch recalls that Fredrick Leonard filled a petition against Stanley Ontop over alleged defamation of character on the 28th of January 2026 and sent it to the Delta State Police Command through Leonard’s lawyers, Uche Okoro & Co.
In the document, the actor accused Stanley Ontop of making repeated statements that damaged his reputation without any provocation for more than two years.
Leonard also claimed that the filmmaker had been spreading stories that painted him in a bad light, which he said had created a wrong public image about him.
He insisted that the actions were intentional and had caused serious harm to both his personal and professional life.
The actor later made the petition public, sharing it on his Instagram page on Monday.
In the post, Leonard stated that he was prepared to take legal action and would ensure that everyone involved was held accountable.
