Media personality cum singer Vee Iye criticized comedian Seyi Law comment on the country’s security
She described his comments as insensitive, stating that Nigerians have become desensitized and are only focused on their personal interests, rather than the broader challenges affecting the nation.
She wrote: “Nigeria Please. It’s not today that they have been kidnapping people in their house.
“A perfect example of a desensitised Nigerian citizen who can’t see past his own pockets.”
Seyi Law made the comment on Nigeria’s security during a podcast where he said,”Nigeria is safer now than 10 years ago. This government has killed more bandits since Jonathan’s. When have you last heard of a bomb blast? It is not today that they have been kidnapping people in their houses. Nigeria’s economy is better than Tinubu met it.”
