Nigerian rap icon Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide (Baddo), has opened up about changes in his eating habits, revealing that he no longer consumes Amala and other traditional heavy meals.

Speaking in a recent interview with YouTuber Korty EO, which aired on Sunday, August 3, the YBNL boss explained that he now prefers lighter, healthier food options that leave him feeling energised rather than sluggish.

“I’m not a big fan of food,” he said. “I eat veggies. But I can kill for broccoli.”

Olamide, known for hits like “Metaverse,” shared that he used to enjoy local dishes such as Amala but decided to stop eating them because they made him feel too full and tired. Instead, he has adopted meals like broccoli, sea bass, lamb chops, and even caviar, which he described as lighter and easier on the stomach.

According to him, these choices help him maintain better energy levels and stay more active throughout the day.
